Andrea Earl Clarke

Founder and Co-Chair

Andrea E. Clarke is an accomplished businesswoman and philanthropist.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business and a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Non-Profit Management. Andrea’s early career included working in computer electronics for some of the world’s fastest growing organizations—Megahertz, US Robotics and 3COM. Years later, she was recruited as a sales representative for two of the most well-known pharmaceutical companies, one of which recognized her as the top employee in the entire company.

In the early 2000’s, Andrea and James founded CLEARLINK, as well as began growing their family of five.

Andrea is as busy as ever supporting her family and dedicating substantial time and resources to worthy causes in her community and abroad.  Currently, Andrea serves as Chair of the UVU Women’s Success Center Advisory Board and as a Board Member of Bridle Up Hope—The Rachel Covey Foundation and The Stella H. Oaks Foundation.   With her exceptional background in nonprofits, Andrea closely oversees the affairs of the Labor and Honor Foundation.

James Nathan Clarke

Founder and Co-Chair

James Clarke is the Founder and CEO of CLEARLINK, as well as the Founder and CEO of Clarke Capital Partners.

In 2001, James Clarke founded and led Utah-based online retailer, CLEARLINK, until it was acquired in 2011 by Pamlico Capital (formerly Wachovia), acquired in 2016 by Sykes, and then in 2021 by Sitel Group– from whom Clarke Capital Partners recently re-purchased a significant interest in CLEARLINK, paving the way for James to return as Chairman and CEO of the company he founded.

James also serves as chair or director on the boards of various private and public companies in the US and abroad.  He oversaw the 2017 IPO of PetIQ where he previously served as Chair of the Board and today serves as Vice Chair to Jupiter Acquisition Corporation which raised $157 M in a 2021 SPAC IPO. He has also served as a trustee and board member of universities as well as regional and global non-profit organizations. Currently, James is the Governor appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees at Utah Valley University, where he also serves as audit chair.

Clarke Capital portfolio companies have been named as some of the nation’s fastest growing organizations on the INC. 500 list--as well as others--and many have been voted repeatedly as their regions' "Best Place to Work”. In 2013, the Utah State Bar named Clarke as the "Technology Pioneer of the Year" and in 2015 BusinessQ Magazine named him as one of their “10 Coolest Entrepreneurs”, an honor he vigorously disputes.

James is married to the former Andrea Earl of Holladay, Utah and they are parents to three children. As a team, they chaired 2019's Utah Philanthropy Day and currently serve as chairs emeritus. Clarke is an alumnus of Brigham Young University, Harvard University and holds a Master’s Degree in Major Programme Management from the University of Oxford, where he has returned to lecture on occasion.
